Culture Division

Explore history.  Discover art.

Be inspired.

The Culture Division provides services for everything music, food, art, and history!  We proudly provide Windsor with:

  • Boardwalk Park Museum - Our team has worked to preserve Windsor's history by maintaining eight separate buildings at Boardwalk Park, all original to the Windsor area in addition to an impressive artifact collection.
  • Art and Heritage Center - The cultural hub of Windsor, the original Town Hall now houses several exhibits a year in addition to some of our unique programming.
  • Culturally Diverse Programming - Dance classes, youth make and take programs, drop-in preschool and adult art, cooking classes and events give Windsor residents a chance to explore their creativity and expand their minds.
  • The Windsor Farmers Market - Under the Market Pavilion at Boardwalk Park from June to September, vendors sell locally and regionally sourced and created goods directly to the public.
  • The Windsor Summer Concert Series - Every year between June and September, we bring live music to Boardwalk Park.
  • Public Art - We work with the Windsor Severance Historical Society to further advance our mission of preserving history and enhance our public art program.
  • The Culture Division works in conjunction with the Planning Department and the Historic Preservation Commission.
If you are looking for a unique and rewarding volunteer experience, working with our Culture Staff may be the choice for you!
